Last Week's Goals:
I'm reporting live from the Old Skool Junk art studio again! We got rained out of a second garage sale, so instead I shall make as much jewelry as possible, donate what I didn't sell, and hang with some old buddies that are in-town.
It was another busy and productive week, and I've trashed my home in the process. I'm going to focus on organizing every last supply and bit of merchandise I own. My apartment is going to be as sleek and effective as Batman's utility belt once I've finished!
Goals February 19 to February 26:
1. Buy mini plastic storage bins, label, and store all supplies within.
2. Go through remaining stock and deep purge for another yard sale.
3. Spend two days hardcore apartment hunting.
4. File taxes and file paperwork.
5. Apartment deep-clean and streamlining.
Weeklies: ebook planning, brick & mortar business plan, grant search, DIYs, children's book line, jewelery making, blog refining, listing items for ebay and craigslist. (LOTS! I love being busy!)
Tell me your goals, join the party!
What have you got planned for the week? Let's share and keep each other on-track!

I always plan ahead on Sunday too - so I figured I would start linking up with you! Hope you don't mind :)
ReplyDeleteI love looking at all of your thrift finds!!
Sherry
Thanks for joining the party, Sherry! I love how you have dinners for the week planned, too. I'm never that organized!
DeleteOhhhh, I hate to plan ahead. I'm so a spur of the moment person, but of course my life is haphazard. I'm still settling in 7 months after the big move. That being said, to be productive you must plan. This week? The guest/office spare room.
ReplyDeleteI'm finding I can sometimes work better with more flexibility and less rigid scheduling too. It's all about finding a balance.
Deleteone of the clients she finished designs for was ME! great job Van, i absolutely love the designs :)
ReplyDeleteglad someone elses thrifting/creative space looks just as crazy as mine. the inlaws are coming for dinner so that lit a fire under my butt to clean. the room looks so much better and feels 'lighter' somehow!
I can't wait to get to work and get chaos under control this week. My house is trashed!
DeleteGlad you love the designs, can't wait to get started on the next half!
I love how we;re always trying to be more organized :)
ReplyDeleteIf I go one day without putting everything in its proper place, my apartment becomes a minefield.
Mine too, literally. I'm constantly breaking and tripping over things, THIS MUST END!
DeleteDespite the rain, it sounds like you have a nice day planned! It's pretty blah out over in my neck of Florida, too (probably why I'm still in my extremely un sexy Homer Simpson pajamas.) Good luck on organizing everything! Such a great feeling once it's done.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for sweet relief of true organization! I'm giving myself a week- surely I can get it done in this time!
DeleteOrganizing is another passion I have!! I once owned my own professional organizing business (but then my parenting duties took over) and loved helping people realize their organizational dreams could become a reality. My best piece of advice would be to have a place for everything and put it away as soon as you are done...use the touch it once rule!
ReplyDeleteMy goal for this week includes moving into my new booth and rocking it out with some new vintage and awesome prices so I can sell out and buy more!! I don't know which is funner, the seeking, buying, displaying or selling!! It's all so exciting!
I MUST start applying this touch it once rule! Hopefully dedicating a week to organizing and planning will help me slay the clutter beast for good!
DeleteI feel like I am constantly battling the disorganization beast!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I think as resellers it's easy because more stuff MUST keep coming in to make sales. I'm going to sell much of what I own and my entire apartment will double as retail and art supply storage.
DeleteI'm excited to get to it and live a normal life! :D Ur, normal quirky bohemian life.
I like this Weekly Goals thing. Might have to try this next Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend it ;)
