This year I want to write, read, create and learn my ass off. Expanding my skill set invigorates me, and a fresh new year is a perfect jumping off point. I feel like this haul post has a nice combination of quiet, studious beauty:
This Smith-Corona powder blue typewriter in its black case is gorgeous to use and display in your home. It weighs a ton and would be hard to ship, so I see myself putting this in my Southern Crossing Antique Mall booth.
I absolutely love writing on a typewriter, but I have a vintage heirloom one of my own use, so it won't be too hard to let go of this beauty.
I found this Terrestone by Orzeck Ware, MA owl at the antique mall while I was switching out merchandise. It reminded me of stout, elaborately painted clay owls my mom bought back from Mexico. I already have him listed on Etsy, but let me know if you'd like to buy it directly from me. I'll give you a discount.
This beautiful Pyrex coffee pot was a kind gift to resell from BF's mom.
If you'd like to buy it from me at a discount before I list it on Etsy, let me know!
The typewriter folded up at the apartment, waiting to go to SOCO!
I resisted the urge to find beautiful new merchandise at the flea market yesterday morning. I confessed that I'm overwhelmed with merchandise and still trying to carve the new direction for my brand. I may turn Monday posts into "random showcase" posts where I offer amazing deals or just show off some gorgeous vintage I have in cabinets that you've never seen.
But as you can see in the photo above, I've been busy updating my Etsy shop! Feel free to check it out, I have plenty of good deals available if you want to shop, and just lots of pretty vintage to look at if you just want to look around. I think I've finally added all of the books I've been meaning to resell! Many of the book recently listed have been languishing in my bookshelf for years!
What did you find this weekend?
